Jack Dorsey – the CEO of social network Twitter and cryptocurrency enthusiast believes that Africa will determine the future of cryptocurrency industry, as investment platform has learned.
As Dorsey says, despite development and acceptance of cryptocurrencies in Europe and the USA, exactly Africa will head the industry. After his tour of Nigeria and Ghana Dorsey has claimed that African continent is quickly developing, but still stays very poor and this factor will become one of the main reasons for accepting Bitcoin and other digital currencies.
“With sadness I am leaving the continent, but just for a while. Africa will determine the future of cryptocurrencies, particularly Bitcoin. I am not certain where exactly but I will live here for about 3-6 months in the middle of 2020. I am thankful for this experience of visiting even a small part of Africa”, – Jack Dorsey said.
Also, the crypto enthusiast has called upon people to invest in Bitcoin and invent new ways of digital assets usage. Next year Dorsey is going to visit all the countries of the continent with an aim to promote BTC. In total, he will spend in Africa about a half of a year.
